Horse racing at Rehoboth tomorrow

The town of Rehoboth will tomorrow play host to  the Standard Bank  Alex Angermund Handicap event to be held by the Khomas Turf Club, under the auspices of the Namibia Horse Racing Association (NHRA).

My candid view – Good luck to the Brave Warriors

As Namibia’s beloved Brave Warriors takes to the field today to face the Eagles of Mali at the Stadia Du 26 Mars in Bamako for their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations first leg qualifier clash, I on behalf of the entire renowned New Era team would like to wish our boys all the best of luck in their quest to help Namibia qualify for her fourth Afcon tournament – with the other three being in 1998, 2008 and 2019.

Pensioners to benefit from Dr Hage Geingob Cup

A whopping amount of N$3.4 million that was initially meant for this year’s annual Dr Hage Geingob Cup has been diverted and will now be rechannelled towards a charity initiative that will see pensioners across the country benefiting from the scheme.
