2021 Sports Expo launched

The 2021 edition of the Namibia Annual Sports Expo (NASE) was officially launched at the Windhoek Gymnasium in the capital yesterday, with organising announcing that this year’s second edition of the expo will be hosted virtually on all digital platforms. The 2021 expo will take place from the 20th until end of this month. This year’s edition will be hosted in a digital format by involving radio stations, print media and TV shows. The primary objective of the expo is to market the county’s resource-starved sports industry to the public with the hope of increasing interest and investments in sport. The expo is dedicated to the sports, fitness and health industries, and continues to put special emphasis on the local manufacturing industry with the aim of showcasing and connecting them with potential investors. More importantly, the expo also aims to strategically bring together a diverse range of national and international sports organisations, sports goods and equipment manufacturers, technology and innovation providers along with sports retailers, dealers, and distributors, sports marketing professionals, sports media experts as well as local and international sports federations, national associations and other internationally renowned sport leaders under one roof. –Photo: Otniel Hembapu
