News that league football will return in the country on the 17th of next month got me excited for a number of reasons. Firstly, I love football. Moreover, I love Eleven Arrows FC. I’m a baainaar ... what did you expect?! Tigers? N**ga please! 

The optimist in me is hoping you still remember me (please don’t burst my bubble), because despite being gone a while, I still thought about all the ways I could share bits and pieces of Namibia with you.

After several attempts to partake in the Miss Namibia beauty pageant, Stella Da Costa has finally made it to the semifinal in this year’s competition, thus being the first participant from Opuwo to achieve that feat, an achievement she said did not come on a silver plate.  

Imagine one making it their life purpose to find the truth. Of course, in the world of deception and manly constructed reality, such a quest would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Since the start of the year, I have read three books. Without realising that something in me was drawing me to books about bravery.
