Agriculture minister Calle Schlettwein on Monday warned that a lack of wealth for women involved in the agriculture sector needs to be addressed. The minister stated that Namibia must devise policies to ensure women acquire wealth if it wants to realistically empower them in the sector. 

The separation of powers doctrine, a central tenet of Namibian constitutional law, entails the provision of checks and balances between the three branches of government. 

We are taught to accept things that are beyond our controls; however, as leaders, we are taught to be the change we want to see. As Christians, we are taught to let God handle the things that are too big or too complicated for us to fix on our own.

As a preliminary remark, this article continues my reflection on the complex matter on the use of more inclusive language in our services of worship.
