ECN confirmed that there will be 29 polling stations in the town of Rundu and 183 polling stations throughout the entire Kavango East Region.
In Rundu at the town hall, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and SME Development Gabriel Sinimbo and his wife Verna who is also a candidate for Rundu local authority were the first to cast their votes at 07h05.
