WINDHOEK – A woman who is alleged to have stolen toiletries worth N$450.80 did not turn up for her scheduled court appearance after being granted police bail of N$300. Magistrate Justine Asino issued a warrant of arrest with immediate effect for 27 year old Beata Josef on Friday after she was called more than three times inside and outside B Court at the Windhoek Magistrate Court. State prosecutor Samantha Diergaardt requested Asino to issue the warrant of arrest and declare Josef’s bail money provisionally forfeited to the State with a return date of December 6. The State alleges that Josef stole one S Gel Energy valued at N$36.99, one Braid High Sheen Spray worth N$30.99, four White Satin Body Spray valued at N$24.99 each, one Sensual Shower Gel worth N$54.99, one Aloe Toilet Soap valued at N$10.99, one Sunlight Toilet Soap worth N$10.99, six Exlamation Body Spray worth N$24.99 each, one Propolis Toilet Soap worth N$10.99, one Petroleum White Jelly valued at N$8.99, one toilet soap worth N$10.99, one Energy Soap worth 10.99 and one Panty Liner worth 13.99 the property of Pick’nPay. The incident is said to have happened on 21 November in Windhoek.
