The Forum for African Women Educationalists in Namibia last week presented a Mathematics and Science holiday school for Grades 10 and 12 learners of four secondary schools in the western suburbs.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Dr Becky Ndjoze-Ojo, was the guest speaker at the holiday school that accommodated 40 selected girls from Jan Jonker Afrikaner, A. Shipena, Immanuel Shifidi and Khomas High School.

According to a press statement by FAWENA, the holiday school was staged as an effort to raise the confidence of the girls to encourage them to improve their performances by providing them opportunities for revision.
