WINDHOEK
Swapo Party politician, Leonard Mwilima, whose elevation a month ago to the post of Caprivi Regional Governor precipitated a political firestorm and a renewed long-running tribal feud, was yesterday arrested for alleged failure to pay child maintenance.
Yesterday sources spotted Mwilima, who was not handcuffed, being escorted to court after he was ‘re-arrested’ for continued failure to fulfil his parental obligations.
At the time of his arrest, the arrears amounted to N$2ǟ
