Royal Kxao /Ui/o/oo was born on September 30, 1966.
Legislative Profile: He is currently Deputy Minister for the Marginalised People in the presidency and a member of the National Assembly under Swapo Party.
Previously he served as a member of the following parliamentary committees: Standing Committee on Natural Resources, Standing Committee on Rules and Orders, Standing Committee on Governmental Affairs, Standing Committee on Petitions, Standing Committee on Human Resources, Equality and Gender Development as well as the Select Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
Education: He is currently pursuing a National Diploma in Law with the University of South Africa (Unisa) and holds a certificate in Linguistic Studies in African Languages from Taxis.
He completed his matric at the Namibia College of Open Learning (Namcol), but did both his primary and secondary education in Botswana.
Career: He worked at the Nyae-Nyae Development Foundation of Namibia Village Schools Project, is a former literacy/assistant teacher trainer and served as a senior traditional officer for the the Ju/’hoan Traditional Authority.
He is also a former teacher having worked at Tsumkwe Junior Secondary, and TJS and Aasvoëlnes schools and also worked for U.S. Peace Corps, Namibia.
