Windhoek

One of Namibia’s renowned fashion designers, McBright Kavari, is readying for his forth solo fashion show on November 12 at the Polytechnic Hotel School under the theme Evolution Noir Collection.

The designer says he chose this theme since his new summer collection will focus on black colour. “Evolution Noir Collection means black collections in French. I am now building around on black, that is what inspired my designs now,” he says.

He adds that fashion lovers can expect more surprises in all his 20 collections that he is going to showcase and other accessories. “This time I am very classy when it comes to fashion and my designs are on point,” he says.

McBright is known for his vibrant, bright coloured pieces made mostly in African prints. His works also include his trademarks Otjiherero traditional dresses, which are dramatic as usual with a variety of colours and fabrics. His collections are elegant, shimmery and are able to give you all the grace in the world.
Tickets for the show are N$ 220 from Computicket and doors open at seven O’clock in the evening (19h00).
