Evelhardine Kapuuo-Kerina, a veteran of the fight against white minority rule, has died. She was 80.
Her husband Professor Mburumba Kerina confirmed her demise yesterday saying she passed on at around 12h30 yesterday in the Roman Catholic Hospital.
The late Kapuuo-Kerina spent the last few days of her life in hospital where she was admitted last week Thursday to be treated for cardiac arrest and heart complications. Late yesterday, friends and family members had gathered at Kerina’s home in Katutura to comfort each other.
