WINDHOEK– My World Kids Life Studio presents Zeal for Life Self Esteem Workshops for children age 5 to 13 at Jan Mohr Secondary School from May 5 – 7.
The workshop aims at teaching children to learn about what they are good at and how to be their own best friend, getting to know themselves better, accepting themselves, understanding good and bad thoughts patterns and changing negative thinking into positive thinking. The three day workshop will be divided into three sessions according to the children’s age groups. Children from five to eight years are attending the first session on May 5, the Micro Zeal under the topic “Leaning To Love Me”; the Mini Zeal for nine to ten year-olds on May 6, which is to discuss “Being my own best friend” and the last group, the Major Zeal for the 11 to 13 years -old children, which is going to talk about “Searching for the Hero Inside Yourself”.
The workshop fee is 280 per child including snacks. Children are the future of Namibia and we need to invest in them by giving them the right tools to accomplish the vision we have for our country. “Most of us have coaches for sports, for school, for dance, for singing, just as we need coached for those activities, we need coaches for life. Someone to help you make a success, to be yourself, to love yourself and to have the confidence you need,” says one of the organisers, Johandra Nehoya.
“As parents we all want the best for our children, we try to provide for them in areas such as school and material needs. With My World Kids Life Studio you can give them more than material needs, you can give them a road to success, to become the person they believe they can be,” she says. Parents can visit the Kids Life Studio website at www.kidslifestudio.com to do a free lifestyle assessment for their child.
