Home Time Out The Rockets back in the country

WINDHOEK-One of the South African leading live band, especially in years gone by and still going strong, The Rockets, is back in the country by  public demand.

After the explosive and dazzling live performances from the band last year, Namibian live-music lovers once again have the opportunity relive the talents of the band, performing live in Windhoek and Walvis Bay next weekend. It will be at the Western Suburbs in Windhoek next Friday, May 1, and in the and  Walvis Bay Town Hall next Saturday on May 2, with both events starting at Six O’clock (18H00). The band announced on their Facebook Profile promising a weekend of explosion and excitement with a mixture of old schools and new songs from their albums. Music lovers can also expect to experience one of the amusing moments from the band for the third time ever in Namibia these years after.

The Rockets success story is one of determination, hard work and dedication. The Rockets have always had a definite and precise attitude to their career right from its inception, having survived both the feverishness and fluctuations of the music business. Over the past ten years, The Rockets have spent more than six months of each year performing outside South Africa. International trips have included numerous performances in Australia, various countries in the Middle East, The Seychelles and other parts of Africa, including Namibia.
Some of the songs to be performed by the band include Gimme A Break, Surrender, Pappa Please Come Back Home, Thank You Thank You, Back II The Hits, Dreaming of You and African People.

Tickets are available at Computickets countrywide. Normal tickets N$ 120 for people standing while for people seated is N$ 200 each.
