WINDHOEK – Innovation meets banking. This is the thrust with which Standard Bank Namibia’s self-service Grove Mall branch recently opened its doors to customers and businesses alike.
Gone are the days where a client needs to go to a teller to request for a bank statement or stand in long queues to pay for an account. The concept of banking of the future has started for Standard Bank at the Grove Mall where customers can bank conveniently by themselves with the latest self-service banking facilities.
“On the sales pods you can simply open an account, do internet banking or even apply for a loan. On the self-service kiosks, clients can do 24-hour internet banking when the mall is open. Simply, the idea is we strive to help customers to help themselves. It is all about doing it yourself banking where customers can feel financially empowered,” explained Corne Cloete, Standard Bank Namibia’s Team Leader of Grove Mall Branch.
Open from Mondays to Sundays, Standard Bank Namibia’s latest self-service facilities give banking clients banking convenience. “We want our clients to experience total banking freedom with our 24-hour self-service terminals or kiosks for transfers and deposits, ATMs, enquiry and teller counters, consultants and comfortable facilities that allow clients to open accounts and apply for loans,” added Cloete.
The Standard Bank Grove Mall branch currently accommodates seven staff comprising a team leader, a teller, a universal teller, a kick officer, a universal customer services and a universal consultant.
