Telecommunications operator, Paratus Namibia has extended its retail footprint with the addition of nine more reseller and six pop-up shops across the country.
Earlier this year, Paratus opened three branded pop-up shops in informal areas around Windhoek. After a few months, Paratus reports the shops have been so successful that this has spurred on its mission to open more outlets that are convenient to its customers.
Paratus Namibia MD Andrew Hall explained: “Expanding our retail network is important for many reasons.”
“Following our recent and aggressive national rollout project, we have now extended our services over our proprietary last mile infrastructure to a total of 28 towns across Namibia. These additional stores will leverage our investment and reach our customers in these areas directly. We plan, in the future, to continue expanding our national footprint while ensuring our network always delivers a quality service. These successful retail shops, coupled with our robust digital engagement via our online signup portal have reinforced our commitment to providing convenient and accessible services to our valued customers. The online portal has proven to be a great success, demonstrating our dedication to embracing digital solutions to enhance customer experience. While we celebrate this success, we also recognise that Namibians continue to value the traditional brick and mortar shops. Both channels, digital and physical, complement each other, ensuring that every customer’s connectivity needs are met efficiently and effectively,” Hall added.
“These retail outlets are extremely effective for bringing our product and services closer to the customer. They are strong branding vehicles as well as important trading outlets where our customers have convenience and service on their doorstep.”
Hall further noted that Paratus Namibia is committed to providing top quality and reliable connectivity to all Namibians. “We are investing heavily in building our own infrastructure and expanding our retail presence across the country in order to give our customers the best possible service and experience. We have also supported this rollout with a new product line that was launched in July of this year along with the activation of the Equiano cable. This means that customers essentially get double the value at the same price,” said Hall.
He continued that Paratus Namibia is also focused to deliver excellent customer service and support, saying: “We have a dedicated team of professionals who are ready to assist our customers with any queries or issues they may have. We also have a user-friendly online portal where customers can manage their accounts, view their usage, and access other features.”
Hall invited all Namibians to visit the new Paratus retail outlets and experience the difference that Paratus can make. “We are confident that once you try Paratus, you will never look back. We offer fast and reliable solutions that suit your needs and budget,” said Hall.
Hall also expressed his gratitude to customers who have entrusted Paratus Namibia with their connectivity needs. “We sincerely thank our customers for their ongoing loyal support. Your trust in us drives our passion to innovate and improve our services continually,” Hall added.
The Paratus pop up shops are in Outapi, Eenhana, Oniipa, Otjomuise, Soweto and Okuryangava.
