The boxing bonanza is set to take place on 01 September at the Ongwediva Trade Fair Grounds and will be headlined by World Boxing Organisation Africa (WBO) Welterweight Champion Charles Shinima and WBO International Super Middleweight champion John-John Ndjolonimus.

“Everyone is ready; boxers are in the gym putting in the hours ahead of the much-anticipated event. Our team is already on the ground assessing the venue and doing all the necessary things needed ahead of the event,” he said.
In terms of how important the bout is for his boxers, the 58-year old promoter said it is important as they are still trying to climb in rankings.
“We know every boxer’s dream is to fight on the biggest stage, which is the World title and it’s what my boxers are chasing at the moment. It’s quite a crucial fight for each and every one of them because by winning that’s how you are also climbing in rankings. The more you maintain a good record is the more you increase your chances of fighting for the big title. I believe in their potential and they will surely get there,” he said
Tickets are pegged at N$200, while tables are at N$20 000.
