The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Namibia (ICAN) has announced the release of its 2022 Annual Integrated Report in an engaging online format. The report, which can be accessed at www.ican.online.na, provides visitors with a comprehensive overview of ICAN’s achievements, goals, and impact.
This is the second year that ICAN published its annual report online, which offers an array of interactive features, including highlights and informative infographic videos. By embracing this digital format, ICAN aims to enhance stakeholder engagement, broaden its reach, and foster transparency.
This modern approach to reporting brings numerous benefits compared to traditional printed annual reports. Firstly, the web-based format enables ICAN to reach a wider audience, including younger generations who prefer digital mediums. Additionally, the report’s collapsible sections ensure easy navigation, making it convenient for readers to access specific information effortlessly.
“We are excited to present our 2022 Annual Integrated Report in an online format,” said Fenni Nghikevali, Chief Executive Officer of ICAN, adding that “leveraging the power of digital technology is a big step forward in effective communication with ICAN’s diverse local and international stakeholders”.
The annual report website and video content were created in partnership with TribeFire Studios. Stefan Hugo, CEO of TribeFire Studios and a chartered accountant commented that “ICAN’s forward-thinking solution to communicate through video and interactive text, using an easily accessible online space is an industry-leading step in annual reporting”.
ICAN is the professional membership body for Chartered Accountants in Namibia. It is a requirement to be a member of ICAN in order to use the designation CA (NAM).
