O&L certified as Great Place to Work for 25/26

The Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group has officially been certified as a Great Place to Work (GPTW) for 2025/26.

In a statement, the group noted this is a remarkable achievement that stands as a testament to the authentic, caring and passionate spirit which serves as the ethos of the group.

Following the completion of the annual Great Place to Work (GPTW) survey earlier this year, O&L recorded an extraordinary milestone: a 99% participation rate across the group, and an overall trust index score of 70%.

This marks a significant 8% improvement from the previous year, and the highest scores O&L has achieved since embarking on its GPTW journey in 2017.

The certification, awarded by the Great Place to Work Institute, recognises organisations that create exceptional employee experience. Companies must attain a minimum trust index score of 65% to qualify.

Impressively, seven of O&L’s operating companies surpassed this benchmark, earning individual certifications alongside the group’s accolade.

Sven Thieme, executive chairman and CEO of the O&L Group, expressed pride and gratitude.

“This is an extraordinary and proud moment for O&L. These results are a direct reflection of the ownership our people have taken, the trust they have placed in our shared journey and the authentic, caring and passionate contributions they make each day. We are driven by a deep commitment to creating a culture where every individual can thrive and where excellence is not just a goal, but a way of life,” he stated.

Over the coming months, the organisation is expected to continue engaging with employees across its businesses to celebrate strengths, identify new opportunities for growth, and reinforce its vibrant culture.

“This latest achievement not only honours O&L’s steadfast commitment to its people, but also strengthens its ambition of becoming an employer of choice and securing the future through its Vision 2029,” the O&L Group stated.
