Local content conference returns in October

The Namibia Local Content Conference & Exhibition (NLCC) 2025, convened by Antila Oil & Gas (AO&G), the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) and with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) as a strategic partner, is scheduled to take place from 7 to 9 October 2025 at The Dome in Swakopmund.

Hosted under the theme “Aligning Namibia’s Energy Ambitions: A Synergised Approach to Local Content”, NLCC 2025 is set to bring together government officials, industry leaders, SMEs, civil society, and academia. The conference aims to facilitate robust dialogue on embedding in-country value and accelerating Namibia’s oil, gas, and renewable energy transformation.

The three-day conference and exhibition will feature exhibitions, technical sessions, and stakeholder engagements. These are designed to position local enterprises at the center of Namibia’s energy journey. With the country’s energy sector entering a defining phase, NLCC 2025 offers a unique platform to consolidate efforts that drive national capacity-building, innovation, and inclusive growth.

“NLCC 2025 is a platform that turns dialogue into action. It is where Namibia’s energy opportunities in oil, gas, green hydrogen, and the wider energy sector are connected to local skills, suppliers, and enterprises, ensuring that growth is inclusive and sustainable,” said Namata Liswani, spokesperson for the event.

NLCC 2025 is further strengthened by the support of its strategic partners who include CLC Solutions, Above Ground Advisory, Africa Energy Technology Centre (AETC), Namibia Youth Energy Forum (NYEF) and First National Bank Namibia.

Details on confirmed speakers and the programme line-up are expected to be shared in due course through official NLCC communication channels. NLCC 2025 stands as a high-impact, content-driven, and collaborative platform that strengthens Namibia’s positioning as a rising energy hub and advances a shared vision of a sustainable and inclusive energy future.
