Opinion – What is adulting?

Opinion – What is adulting?

Many of us may think adulthood is a stage where you are a whole new grown person who can make decisions by yourself.

Well, I define it as a stage where you have too many responsibilities.

This is not only in form of bills to pay but in many ways like making decisions that could turn your life to take a better turn or worse.

I see it as a process of growth that does not stop until you take your last breath.

I see it as a learning stage – well, this is where most of us do not really get… you see learning never stops.  You learn as you go – and that is how you get better at practising whatever craft interests you.

The more you put yourself out there for either personal experience or business experience, the more you get better.
Well, others may also see it as a stage where you go around making decisions that may be difficult, especially if you are making them for children.

I think this is the hardest part because you do not necessarily know if you are doing the right thing all the time – not until they grow.

Adulthood is a trying stage, where you keep trying to achieve whatever goals you set for yourself.

Yet, for many, they give up after many trials, and they release that they are not cut for that while some keep going no matter how many failures they encounter.

They keep going until they succeed.
Well, for me, when it comes to adulthood, I have come up with my favourite quote: “regression to the means”.

With adulthood, it can never be perfect.  You keep hanging in between.

Some days are good, while some are bad.

But whatever day you may be going through, just remember it is not permanent, and it can change.

So, let us keep doing this adulting thing by keeping it moving.
