Namibia Rugby Premiership reigning champions, University of Namibia (Unam) on Saturday booked their place in this year’s Namibia Premier League final after narrowly beating Western Suburbs 29-23 in the semifinals.
Unam put up a gallant performance to secure their place in the final of the Namibia Rugby Union (NRU) Premier League Cup competition and have in so doing boosted their chances of retaining the league trophy.
In another engrossing semifinal clash Wanderers beat United by 43-13 in the second match of the day to also book a place in the final, where they will meet Unam.
The weekend’s semifinal results are as follows:
