Windhoek

Hip hop and Afro Fusion fans are in for a treat when Savannah Afros and Black Vulcanite (BV) join forces in an Afro-Vulcanite concert tonight at the Franco Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC).
The collaboration will invoke movement to a functional future of afro galactic culture to officially announce the Kalahari International Festival of Arts (KIFA) taking place in the capital on September 1 to 3. The concert is also a farewell to one of Black Vulcanite front men, Okin, who is going to be away for a while. “After our first collaboration with the BV, people started asking for more of the collaboration but we haven’t been able to due to time and now that we have got this opportunity we have decided to fulfil the public demand,” says Savannah Afro.
They promise a magnificent show with a DJ set from the young Shiva Child. “Our fans has much to hear from BV’s new album and from the new material that we have been working on after we launched our debut album,” adds Savannah Afro. Tickets are N$100 and N$150 at the gate with the show starting at 19h00
