Windhoek

Her musical talents may not have been widely known, but the Dessert Queen demonstrated what World Music Day celebrations are all about with her astonishing performance.

‘Priscilla’ was the buzzword during World Music Day celebrations held in the capital, Windhoek.
Although many did not attend, certainly those who did had a blast, with the likes of Ann Singer doing what she does best from cover songs of various artists to her own original tracks.

Tschuku Tschuku managed to keep revelers in a dancing mood, but who can forget the radical stage antics and powerful voice of The Fate of Miss H and her exploits with the mike?

The day was not only about music though and various exhibitors added to the fun. In Windhoek the day was celebrated with two main shows, the afternoon show at the Palm Tree Park and the evening show at the Warehouse Theatre.

The afternoon show was a bit understated, but the evening show soon picked up and got the revelers in a serious party mood.
Even though they did not perform, the mere presence of Shikololo, Ras Sheehama, Legeto and other local legends surely spiced up the evening.
