Cabinet took note of the Report on the Consultative Meeting of the Minister of Gender Equality and Child Welfare, Chairpersons of the Regional Management Committees and Chief Regional Officers; and

Cabinet approved that the International Women’s Day to be commemorated on 08 March 2016, in all Regions and Constituencies starting at 10h00 a.m., under the theme: “Zero GBV Towards 50/50 Gender Equality”.
