The Heart of Deizzy Foundation has donated school kits to vulnerable children through the Back to School campaign which started last week.

More than five learners from around the country have benefited from the foundation. They are Ngurimuje Ndjaronguru from the National Institute for Special Education, Gariseb Romeo and Eris Nyumbura from the Dr Frans Aupa Indongo Primary School and Muningandu Urirapi from Berthold Primary School. “The reason why we had to deliver his donation last Thursday, to enable him to join others at school as soon as possible. With all of this coming to life, I have God to thank,” says Owner of the Foundation, Dorcas Mbevo, about one of the beneficiaries, Urirapi, who have been out of school since the beginning of the new term due to lack of stationaries.

The Foundation has been operating with the theme “beauty is being educated and healthy” and is aim at motivating and helping the Grade 1 learners who cannot afford to buy stationaries.  “In this regards, parents have one less thing to worry about when sending their kids to schools,” she says. It was established at the end of last year as a health and educational non-profit online charity, aiming at instilling children with the will and love for education. “Too many kids dream of attending schools after their pre-primary but the real struggle are faced by their parents who can merely provide for them on a daily basis,” says Deizzy, adding that every person’s educational ground start with solid foundation at Grade 1, hence their goal is to reach out to those families and be a helping hand and make them realise that every child have the right to education.
