The Basketball Artists School (BAS) in Windhoek-Katutura wishes all supporters and friends a Merry Christmas.
BAS is an afterschool programme focusing on less-privileged children. Their motto is: ‘Education First – Basketball Second’. It was founded in 2010 by the Namibian Basketball Federation (NBF) and the German non-profit organisation, Isibindi e.V.
Since 2015 BAS has been part of the project: ‘Free Throw – Basketball Artists against HIV & Aids’,which is run by the German Olympic Sports Confederation and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit on behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
