The Indongo Itatu Annual Donation (IIAD) has once again donated groceries worth N$ 1600 to children living with disabilities at the Dr Frans Indongo Special Care Centre in Okandjengedi, Oshakati in the Oshana region.

The owner of the IIAD, Indongo Itatu, says he feels blessed and honoured to help these kids with his open heart.

“Whenever I visit this centre, the kids always sing for me, showing their appreciation. They always feel relieved. I do this once annually and I do it from the bottom of my heart,” says Itatu.

Itatu donated three 10kg maize meal, one Meme Mahangu, four x 2.5 kg sugar, two x 3kg macaronni, two x 3kg rice, Pilchards, teabags, 24 pack of body soaps, washing powder, 10 loaves of bread, Simba chips, cooking oil, sweets, toiletries and five puzzle games. “These kids sleep with empty stomachs when there is no food, a little are more than nothing and will make a very big difference in their lives. I got assisted by two kind hearts of Apollos Wiseman Shimakeleni and Tuli Abraham, who contributed to this donation. They approached me through social networks and assisted me to make a difference. I am very thankful to these two kind hearts and may the Lord bless them,” appreciates Itatu.

He is urging all Namibians to keep helping the young generation. “Everyone must play a role to help the needy who are close to them with a little that they have. I don’t help because I have money or I don’t have needs, I only help these kids of God because they have no any sources compared to me,” says Itatu.
