The Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) will be hosting a photo exhibition by the Namibian writer, photographer and self–taught cyanotype artist, Marita van Rooyen, titled Beauty in a Blade of Grass from July 13 at the FNCC Restaurant La bonne table.
The exhibition will focus on alternative photographic processes and it will feature a selection of cyanotypes, one of the earliest forms of the photographic medium. The contents of the exhibition will represent flora, both from Namibia and internationally, with a specific focus on medicinal and edible plants. Marita will leave you appreciating Namibia’s naturally indescribable magnificent, mysterious and awe-inspiring world. The exhibition will run until August 1.
