Farm Abbabis in the Karibib district of the Erongo region will be a hive of activity when the fifth round of the Bank Windhoek Namibia National Enduro Championship, gets underway on Saturday.
National classes will have to complete four laps of the route, while the ladies quads and support classes 7 and 8 will complete three laps to find the victor amongst the riders. Classes 9 and 10 will race two laps and the newly established development class – for riders up to 14 years – will complete two laps of 20 km each.
The event is co-sponsored by Lifestyle Pharmacy and Multitrusses and promises to be the highlight of the series as riders tackle the challenging course, which includes sandy riverbeds, rocky hills and fast passages.
Registration and scrutineering for all Windhoek riders takes place on Thursday from 17h30 to18h30 at Pupkewitz Honda. Saturday’s proceedings starts at 07h00 with documentation and technical control with the first bike off the line at 09h30.
