According to race chief organizer, Eamon Freygang, an amount of N$20 000 was used to upgrade all seating areas and to level the racetrack into acceptable international standards for tomorrow’s eagerly awaited mouth-watering races.
The winner of the coveted 2 200-metre sprint stands to walk away with a handsome N$4 000 and with the credible names such as Rommel, Kwaheri, Back to Bowler and Master Chi all in the mix – revellers can expect fireworks where no quarter would be asked or given.
All winners in the eight different race categories will receive lucrative prizes after completion of the event, which starts at 13h00 sharp.
