Members of the City Police yesterday apprehended these four suspects that were involved in two armed robbery incidents. The first robbery happened around 06h15 in Damara Location in Katutura where the suspects robbed a taxi driver of N$400. A struggle ensued and the robbers grabbed the money and jumped into a white sedan and sped off. The same gang apparently later robbed a vendor on his way to the central business district by pointing a gun to his head and robbed him of cash and MTC recharge vouchers valued at N$1 400. Police received an emergency call about the incident and responded within minutes. City Police spokesperson Cillie Auala said they have not yet gone to the bottom of the investigations but the suspects were apprehended and are due to appear in court today.
