WINDHOEK- The shocker of this week is that during Sundays eviction last week, Ik told the housemates that they are all up for eviction. This in an attempt to add flavour to the game but at the same time after talking to the housemates he told viewers that it was all a prank.
In addition to that, ten new housemates from the previous BBA joined them in the house. The ex-housemates entered the house as the Hotshots were frozen. They did not waste time in making sure that the Hotshots knew that they were in the house – and not just to co-habitat but to dominate!Macky2 was clearly not impressed when the ex-housemates threw out their belongings from upstairs downstairs. He threw a complete fit and shouted angrily at Sulu from Zambia, saying that his belongings must not be thrown down the way they have been throwing the rest of the items downstairs. He threatened that if somebody touched or moved his things, he would leave the house.
One would have sworn that there would be fist-fighting in no time but the men restrained themselves, with Sulu keeping his calm even as Sipe shrieked at Sulu and the rest of the ex-housemates.
After 42 days of delight, moans, enjoyment and the BBA experience, South Africa’s Samantha and Malawi’s MR 264 said goodbye to the show on Sunday. Neither looked surprised after the announcement as they walked calmly and gracefully out.Samantha has not escaped notice in the house, what with being embroiled in a love triangle of sorts with JJ and Idris. She’s had a good run, having won Head of House and the Star Meter as well. Her confidence came close to breaking when she lost extravaganza after extravaganza. Last week she was finally part of a winning team, but ironically she was put for eviction by Head of House Sipe. “I expected it from the beginning and I knew the day she became head of house that she would put me up. I didn’t even know that there was beef between the two of us. She saw me as a threat but in the game you can expect anything. Few people would put up acts but later the true colour starts to show,” says Samantha, in an telephonic interview with Time Out’s Selma Neshiko from Johannesburg.
Samantha adds that besides the expected eviction, she looks forward to the opportunities out of the house and plans on working with Permithias as he is very talented. “I will focus on my singles, Permithias, Macky 2 and I have plans and will be working towards that,” she says.
On the other hand, we could not have missed Mr. 265 either, bonding with his bros and often seen in the heat of the most exciting frays in the house. He did come close to winning Head of House but lost to Idris, who proved to be better at putting on the green. He also had intimate conversations with Butterphly.
Mr. 265 jawed about his experience in the BBA house. “I entered for platform and I believe I got it. Being in the house you meet diverse people who can make a difference in your life but the experience was worth it,” says Mr. 265. He adds that Tayo was the most annoying person. “He did not know when to stop, he pushes people to the edge and I found that quite annoying,” he says adding that he will be looking forward to the opportunities ahead as a radio and television presenter.
