WINDHOEK – Joseph Sheehama has been appointed as branch manager for Bank Windhoek’a Katutura branch, while Dian Coetzee will head the Bank Windhoek branch at the Grove Mall in Kleine Kuppe, the bank announced this week. The appointments will take effect from November 01.

Sheehama started his banking career at Bank Windhoek 12 years ago at the Vehicle and Asset Finance branch. He moved through several branches within the bank over the years, before he joined the Katutura branch in 2008, where he is currently the credit manager.

He holds a BComm degree in Banking Management, and a Diploma in Marketing. He also completed other development initiatives such as the International Business and Leadership Management Programme and Transformational Leadership Programme.

Sheehama is a graduate of the Bank Windhoek Accelerated Training Programme (ATP), which trains talented employees to become part of the management team. He is currently finalising his Master’s in Business Administration.

“I am excited to have been given this opportunity to lead the Katutura branch to greater heights. Our clients can be assured of our continued focus on friendly and professional customer service,” said Sheehama.

Coetzee, who is currently the bank manager at the Katutura branch, moved through the ranks in the retail branch banking stream since joining the bank in 2001, holding various positions in sales, credit and business banking.
