Hip-Hoppers live up to their game

Home Time Out Hip-Hoppers live up to their game

WINDHOEK– The “What If” Hip-Hop Sessions last week at the Bank Windhoek Theatre proved that underground Hip-Hop artists know their game.

Even though Hip-Hop may be considered to be of  Afro-American origin and influence, it is great to see Namibians putting their own spin to it. Some of the artists who featured on the night like MP and PLamborghini had a ‘Young Money’ to their performance and lyrics. Male duo Weird Gang had mad swag although most of the lyrical content was of explicit nature. J-Bentley also had it on with his swag plus his lively performance that had the girls screaming for more, thumps up.

The session was dominated by male artists  but it would be great to see more female Hip-Hop artists at the session.  Apart from the performances, credit goes to Neptune Black but you can do justice by promoting the sessions more (and possibly bringing talent scout). Overall, the technical side was not bad but  could be better.
