WINDHOEK – RSP Trading CC, has been in existence since 2003 after Salome Petrus who is now managing the project on a full time basis, received training in Poultry Production at the Ministry of Agriculture in Ongwediva.
The project is located at Omaalala village, Oshana, ten kilometres from Ongwediva on the road to Ondangwa. The business is involved in selling a day to three- month old chicks (broilers, layers, indigenous), big chickens and guinea fowls for breeding and consumption , all types of poultry equipment such as feeders, drinkers, incubators, laying cages etc and give poultry production training to aspiring entrepreneurs.
Keeping in mind the diverse requirements of the clients, it supplies and process quality ranges of abovementioned poultry chicks which it vaccinates against different diseases to maintain their health. The entire product range is available with safe packaging and is delivered in well defined time frame country wide. Their focus is to improve productivity of poultry through the following ways:
• Good housing to keep them safe
• A better diet and clean water
• Vaccination against common diseases
• Good housing records
