WINDHOEK – The Regional Health Director of the Omaheke region will hold the African Vaccination Week (AVW) immunization campaign from May 19 – 23 in all constituencies of Omaheke. The following immunizations will be done: children up to 5 years will be immunized against measels, all pregnant women and women between 14 and 19 years will be immunized against Tetanus, children from 6 – 59 months will get Vitamin A supplements, de-worming will done for children from 5 years and further health councelling.
