By Staff Reporter WINDHOEK The first of a total of three quad bikes to be won in Agra’s annual hunting competition went to Okahandja on Thursday, June 28. The winner Vincent Louw said he had never won a prize before and that he was very thrilled about the prize he won in Agra’s hunting competition. “I am not a member of Agra and still I had the opportunity to take part in this great competition offered by Agra,” he said. According to Louw, he is a regular customer of Agra Okahandja. “I only bought one product – cement to complete the building of my house.” Louw is a forester at the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry. He is a weekend farmer and shares with his father the activities on their farm in the Rehoboth district, mainly farming with cattle and some boergoats. “I am very thankful to Agra for this great competition in which we all can participate, and the excellent service I enjoy at Agra Okahandja. Naturally, I am very happy about winning the quad bike and wish to assure Agra that it will be of great use in my farming activities.” Agra’s hunting competition is open to everybody who shops at any Agra branch or Safari Den. According to Birgit Hoffmann, Senior Manager Marketing, the shop does not only cater for farmers, but for anyone who wishes to shop at Agra. All customers have to do is buy any product/s to the value of N$1 000 at any Agra branch countrywide or Safari Den, get a scratch card and then start scratching to see which target prize they have hit, she said in a statement.
