Fishman readies More Then Me

Home Art Life Fishman readies More Then Me

WINDHOEK-In a way, it’s a compliment to say that the Afro Pop and Kwaito star, Fishman has fallen off.

To have fallen, you must once have been at the top and very few people can reasonably claim to have been the best in their profession, even only for a moment. It also means that the world has high expectations for you. The expectations you must have set through some previous works of genius. So, it wouldn’t really be accurate to say that Fishman fell off. Like so many, he simply appeared and then disappeared in the music industry. While his talent remains constant over the period of two years since he dropped his classic third studio album titled Ink and Water under Antonio’s Art, his focus has sometimes strayed.

Earlier this week, Fishman announced to the public and on Facebook that, he is back with a bang new and fresh, with a different image. He tells Artlife that 2014 is his year to shine and fly high. “By March, I am ready to unleash my highly-anticipated new album to be titled, More Then Me. The album talks more about me going beyond normal thinking with this project,” he says.

He adds that his upcoming album comprise more inspiring songs talking about his life in general, and he also dedicated some songs to music lovers to relate it to themselves when they are listening to it. The 17-track album will feature M-Jay, Exit, Mushe, Buju Kajoko, Bantu and Maestro. More singles will be available by the end of this month.
