Action-packed weekend ahead in the Debmarine Premiership

Tigers co-coach James Britz says despite a tough assignment ahead of them, the team is confident to perform well during their Debmarine Premiership fixtures this weekend.

They are to play Young African tomorrow before taking on African Stars on Sunday, with both matches being crucial in their quest to finish in the top eight this season.

They are currently 10th on the log standings with 32 points from 25 matches played.

The team has secured eight wins, eight draws and suffered nine losses, a record the coach wants to improve before the season concludes.

Asked about the weekend ahead, he acknowledged the challenge, but maintained their capability.

“We understand and are fully aware of the opponents we are going to face, but it’s all or nothing. We want to collect the points, and we will go out there and give it our all,” he said.
