Anima reruns at NTN

Home Art Life Anima reruns at NTN

WINDHOEK– After three sold out shows  earlier this year, The Tribe has returned.

First Rain Dance Theatre in partnership with the National Theatre of Namibia (NTN) presents Anima tonight and tomorrow at the NTN. For two nights only, the show that sweated, stamped and shook its way into the hearts of Namibians will be re-imagined in the statuesque breadth of the NTN. Anima is an African Ballet that is truly Namibian in every sense of the word. It is the story of Santi, the stranger, and The Tribe who find him. It is the story of the battles waged within each of us between our protective persona and our primal anima. It is a story of healing and of love.

With a transporting soundtrack created by the visionary Steffen List and live sound by the incomparable Shishani and Lize Ehlers, the team is rounded out by beautiful garments from the talented arms of Taati Sibolile, one of Namibia’s most talented up-and-coming designers. To project the visual aspect of Anima,Lila Swanepoel and Willem Vrey bring Anima to life behind the scenes.

The  shows  start at seven O’clock (19h00) and tickets are available at Computicket and at the NTN Box Office.
