WINDHOEK – Standard Bank Namibia has appointed Annelie Cloete as Client Coverage Manager for Chinese clientele within its Corporate and Investment Banking Department.
Her key responsibility is to define and execute strategic client plans for mainly the Chinese community. Annelie is tasked with ensuring that she develops strong business relationships while at the same time delivering profitable and integrated Standard Bank products and services to the said target market.
“I am privileged to have been appointed in this new role. The association with an employer with the stature of Standard Bank Namibia Limited, who has recently been voted inter alia the best Bank in Africa, in the local banking fraternity fills me with pride and anticipation to be part of this new journey, not only for the Standard Bank Group, but for the clients too. Local flavour mixed with international banking solutions,” said Cloete when asked how she felt about the latest appointment.
Having been with Standard Bank Namibia for the past 25 years, Annelie previously served as a Credit Origination Manager, a Sales Support Manager and amongst other academic credentials holds a Management Development Programme from the University of Stellenbosch.
“I am eagerly looking forward to consistently deliver excellent service to my clients, whilst ensuring that I position Standard Bank Namibia as the preferred banker of choice. It will give me immense joy if I can add value to my clients and forge and foster long-term relationships with my portfolio of Chinese clients,” she concluded.
