Top Cheri recently hosted a Q&A session on her Instagram page and it saw fans asking her numerous burning questions about her career, love life and her relationship with other musicians
The multi-award-winning musician is well known for not mincing her words and she is never one to shy away to speak about what is bothering her in life.
Top Cheri was asked several questions, which included being accused of being in a relationship with Exit and Manxebe, her alleged beef with Kaboy Kamakili and being accused of being a lesbian.
A fan asked the singer if she hates Kaboy because they never see them together. Responding to the fan, Top Cheri said hate is a big word: “Come on, guys; come on. Hate is such an ugly word… and no, I don’t hate”.
Top Cheri and Lioness are seemingly beefing. This follows after Lioness accused Top Cheri of sub-tweeting her. Top Cheri seemingly claimed that Lioness offered to hire her former manager. Asked if she will have another feature with Lioness, she did not give out a straight answer, saying: “Say her name right first”.
When a fan asked her why people assume she is a lesbian, she responded to the question by saying: “People say a lot of things, beloved”.
On being accused of being in a relationship with Exit and Manxebe, the musician was also quick to shut down those rumours. Recently, she decided to put those rumours to rest. She was inundated with questions about her relationship status with Exit.
Replying to a fan: “Before this even gets out of hand, beloveds, Exit and I have always only been friends and nothing else… the love songs are simply just music. Exit is practically my brother… I can’t see him as anything else. He protects me and loves me but that’s only coz I’m fam.”
This reply was all that was needed to shut down any more questions about her relationship with Exit.
She has made it quite clear that the two are nothing but friends and are as close as brother and sister.
