NAMIBIAN visual artists are requested and encouraged to apply for the Bremer Kunststipendium next year, it was announced in a press release. The Bremer Kunststipendium is open to artists from all partner-cities of Bremen and is based on a selection by a jury. In 2006 Namibian artist, Imke Rust, was the first artist from Windhoek/Namibia to be selected for this stipend. For 2007 Namibian photographer, Helga Kohl, has been selected.
