We all have dreams of where we want to be in life, some are halfway to achieve their dreams, and some are pretty much eating the cake already.
Success is determined by many factors such as hardwork, optimism, honesty, dedication, faith and many more. But there is one aspect that we have overlooked for a long time when studying the road to success and that is a good attitude. The way you address those around you, the way you carry yourself and the way you handle negative feedback mainly determine the lifetime of your success. You can win a million dollars lottery but if you develop an attitude of not respecting money, that million dollar bag will only last you a day.
People with bad attitude are hard to be around and obviously hard to work with. You find people who have worked hard and achieved great wealth and success, then their attitude changes. They start being disrespectful towards others and not taking care of their environment. None one is immune to failing, so do not make the mistake to think that once you have a certain amount of money you can treat people however you please.
Success has no end point, you have to keep working to maintain the level you desire to be at. If you are a student today, you might have dreams of becoming a doctor, and after you receive your medical degree you may want to venture in private practise. After some years, you may want a project to help orphans, it never really end. Let us take an example of someone who is trying to lose weight. They work out everyday and stick to a routine until they have reached the results they desire. After that, one has a choice to keep going with maintaining their routine, or go back to eating all the junk in the word and being unfit.
Great success is a result of hard work, dedication, and a good attitude. Be respectful even to those that do not have half of what you have. And you should not just do this because you are afraid one day you will be back at square one and you will need help, be good because it is the right thing to do. Have a positive attitude towards your work and do not let anyone or anything turn you into a bitter being. Once you have achieved your desired results, do not forget those who have helped you. Say thank you and be appreciative even if the help was a little one. I once said no help is little help. Whatever help you have gotten, it created a step towards the goal. Have an attitude of helping others too. To share your blessings is the purpose of life.
