The good old days are behind us, or at least that’s what most of the youth think. It’s certainly what those who have lived before our independence have been saying and insinuating lately. With each fuel price increase or scandal in the government or scandal of any nature really, a comparison to the ‘good old days’ is thrown around here and there.
It is my wish for everyone reading this to live long enough to reach old age, so the youth of the time can one day consider you the ‘fossil’ or ‘outopies’ and ‘zalies’ of their time.
I have seen so many busy people who simply do not have the time to do anything else; even with what they claim to be important to them.

It is solemnly not a wise choice to always dive head first into anything without careful consideration of what you are getting into.
The month of June is recognised as Pride Month, where members of the LGBTQ+ community fight shame and social stigma, marching in the face of threats and violence.
When you are on a roll, you are simply on a roll and there is not much that can slow you down. Actually, there shouldn’t be anything that should slow you down. It’s a beautiful space to be in when you are able to operate effortlessly with minimum resistance but when it is done or over, rest is very necessary.
There is a disconnection between how we think we live our lives and how we actually live our lives. As ambitious youth and people in general, we mostly tend to want more and do better; to live a life worthy of our dreams or ambitions. But sometimes we don’t even know what that life actually looks like.
How did the youth ever get to a point where they no longer view hard work as a necessary life skill and not just a trait to have and dispose of when one wishes?
Despite what people say, nobody knows you better than you could ever know yourself – and even though we all know this, most people let the views and opinions of others define them.
