Worldwide, cervical cancer is the fourth- most frequent cancer in women, with an estimated 604 000 new cases in 2022. Of the estimated 342 000 deaths from cervical cancer in 2022, about 90% occurred in low- and middle-income countries, including Namibia.

Geingob to host Ramaphosa on Friday

President Hage Geingob will host South African president Cyril Ramaphosa, who will undertake an official visit to Namibia to participate in the third session of the two countries’ Bi-National Commission (BNC) on Friday.
