A recent article in a local daily about ‘D-nyce’ signing or bagging a five-year digital music distribution contract with Unchained Music really had me in shock for a couple of reasons.

We haven’t done an OTU list in a while. Allow me to refresh your memory on what an OTU list is. ‘On The Up’ (OTU) is an official list we publish at least three times a year.

Let’s address the elephant in the room. What is the elephant in the room, you ask? Well, renowned entertainer DJ Lisch recently made it clear that she is unhappy with the lack of diversity that was cast for the Burna Boy #LoveDamini concert. 

The Simply You Magazine, Lifestyle and Fashion Awards will take place tomorrow and as per custom, yours truly will predict who will win in each category.

It warms my heart to see sons and daughters of the land of the brave dominating the nomination lists for both the Africa Choice Awards and the Zikomo Africa Awards.
