The Namibian Competition Commission (NaCC) on 26 February 2021 transferred N$27.1 million to the State Revenue Fund, which originated from penalties it collected and is in fulfilment of its obligation with the provisions of the Competition Act.

Namibia has been regarded as the brainchild of the United Nations, and at the same time hailed as one of the best democracies in the world. That is partly true, despite the fact that it took seven decades for the world body to successfully implement the Independence of the country.

A 32-year-old man was admitted at the Oshakati Intermediate Hospital on Heroes’ Day after he attempted to set himself on fire.The incident happened on Thursday evening at 18h30 at Oshakati West.
