A group of 15 young Namibian leaders have been chosen to participate in the annual Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, which is being held virtually. 

Paulus Shikongeni Haimbodi, a final year Bachelor of Accounting student at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), is in dire need of an internship to enable him to graduate. 

Atlantic III, a Namibian boutique consulting firm, decided to partner with the University of Namibia (Unam) to accord three Namibians with internship opportunities in the business strategy and legal field.

December 2019, Covid-19 became something for the world to worry about. It was no longer something that was just happening in Asia. Our globally connected world meant the virus is mobile and travelled just as its hosts did across the world. 

The African Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) has, in recent years, been a standing item at the Annual Conference of the Trade Law Centre (Tralac) based in South Africa. This year, it is again the case as the annual conference is, for the second year, a virtual event due to the global pandemic.

Government has introduced several initiatives to support business recovery, following the severe impact of Covid-19, which devastated an already-struggling economy. 

When the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), through its Private Sector Covid-19 Response Initiative, handed over the first oxygen tanks at the Katutura State hospital, a sore sight of piled up broken beds piled caught their eyes. Being proactive and in no time at all, the NCCI-led initiative on Monday handed over 100 repaired hospital beds to the health ministry.

Marx wrote the following about the idea of consciousness: “It is not consciousness of men that determines their existence, but, on the contrary, their existence shapes and define their consciousness”. 

On 6 July 2021, the First Lady of Namibia, Monica Geingos announced on her Twitter feed that her office had partnered with experts to publish weekly updates that analyse and report on the Civd-19 situation in Namibia.

As part of the efforts to fight the rising Covid-19 cases in the Omaheke region, the office of the governor has sourced a volunteer doctor and her nurse husband through N/a’an ku sê Lifeline Clinic.
