The past few weeks saw a great increase in Swapo Party campaigning and bargaining activity. For us, that has and continue to serve in the structures, it is indicative of a Swapo Party that is alive, on the ground and a party spreading its wings across all districts in hopes of getting messages of hope across.

About 70% of Namibians depend directly or indirectly on agriculture for their income and livelihood, including subsistence farmers. Despite the massive potential the sector holds, we have not adequately invested in agriculture given the fact that Namibia is still not self-sufficient in food security.

A 23-year-old Angolan woman, Isabela Lukas, who was arrested for allegedly dumping her baby at the Ndama location at Rundu on Thursday, was remanded in custody when she appeared on a charge of abandonment of a child, read with Section 1 of Child Care and Protection Act 3 of 2015.
